Meet Dan
I built my first website with old school HTML in 2004. It was a bit wonky but did the job.
Since then I’ve picked up an unconventional combination of skills and experience that make me a well-rounded web designer and content marketing specialist.
I’ve been a copywriter, an event manager and a marketing director to name a few from a varied list.
For most of my career I’ve helped build The Adventurists from an idea into a global adventure travel company generating over £2 million in annual revenue.
A stint as managing director gave me in-depth experience running a company that spans time zones, continents and cultures. Our products ranged in price from event tickets at £15 to the world’s longest horse race at £12,000 per rider.
Why websites & creative content?
The ever-present theme in my career has been building brands and selling via websites and digital content.
Over time it became clear that telling stories online was my future.
I’ve launched South Pier because I love getting stuck into what makes a business work and how it can grow.
That’s exactly what we’ll do to build the right website for your business so it’s much more than an internet-shaped brochure.
